Distributors grow at spectacular rate
Electronics distributors enjoyed an exceptional year in 2000, with most posting double-digit growth despite a less-than-stellar fourth quarter, according to Purchasing Magazine's annual Top 75 Electronics Distributors Survey. Distributors attribute their growth to strong demand from communications OEMs and their contract manufacturers in the first three quarters of 2000.
