Concur, a provider of on-demand employee spend management services, has introduced a tool that business travelers can use to manage their travel plans and their travel spending while on the road.
With Concur Mobile, business travelers whose companies use Concur’s travel and expense tool, can manage their itinerary, conduct transactions within travel policy, capture expense data and approve expense reports using their Blackberry or Windows mobile phone.
Travelers can add or delete services such as hotels, rental cars, dining reservations and taxis. They can also capture miscellaneous out-of-pocket purchases and tips, helping to ensure that these transactions are accounted for within the expense report. Managers can review their employees’ expense reports in detail from their mobile device.
And by connecting to the Concur travel and expense tool, Concur Mobile helps drive compliance to travel policy by providing travelers with access to travel services available through the company’s preferred suppliers. It also captures the spend data.
Concur Mobile is available in three languages—English, French and German.
