Book outlines Honda's supply strategy

"Balanced Sourcing: Balancing Cooperation and Competition in Supplier Relationships" is a new book written by Timothy Laseter of Booz-Allen & Hamilton. The book details how Honda of America Mfg. achieves the dual goal of strong supplier relations and continuous cost reduction. Honda received the 1995 Medal of Professional Excellence from Purchasing Magazine, under the leadership of Editorial Advisory Board member Dave Nelson.
