Taiwanese Invest $14 billion in Megaplant Startup

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) and two other Taiwanese chipmakers are investing more than $14 billion into the Hsinchu Science Park, a manufacturing center in Taiwan that will include an advanced 12-inch wafer plant as well as other manufacturing and R&D facilities.
