Supply management executive wins leadership award

The Supplier Excellence Alliance has awarded its Richard Hall Award for Leadership Excellence to Ken Marcia, vice president of supply management and process innovation at Dresser-Rand Group in Olean, N.Y., and to Cristi Cristich, CEO at Cristek Interconnects in Anaheim, Calif.
Dresser Rand recently outlined its Lean operations and processes in a presentation at an SEA conference in September highlighting its work in value stream mapping for manufacturing and logistics.
SEA is a non-profit alliance of aerospace and defense prime and tier-one contractors and sub-tier suppliers organized to transform the supply chain. Its mission is to accelerate performance of small and mid-sized production suppliers.
Other awards and recipients include: Photo Etch Company of Ft. Worth, Texas, which SEA honored with its Operational Excellence Award and Roberts Tool Company of Chatsworth, Calif., which received the Supply Chain Innovation Award. Honeywell Aerospace of Tempe, Ariz., received the Customer of the Year Award.
SEA presented the awards at a gathering attended by supplier company executives as well as executives from prime and tier-one contractors in Indian Wells, Calif.
