Market research by Banc of America Securities finds “no evidence of any production issues or shortages” for Intel’s new Broadwater chipset, reports analyst Sumit Dhanda. Why the inquiry? Demand for the Broadwater chipset that supports dual-core processors has been stronger than expected, and Intel has shipped more than 2 million units since the middle of June.
