Transportation management systems provider LeanLogistics announced it will now offer its Carrier Procurement Services as a standalone offering to all logistics buyers. Previously the service was only available to customers of LeanLogistics' on-demand TMS.
According to a LeanLogistics statement, the Carrier Procurement Service allows users to benchmark current rates against those already in the LeanLogistics network of more than 20,000 users, 4,000 carriers and 2,000 suppliers. LeanLogistics offers support for logistics RFPs and bids, as well as ongoing quarterly review of carrier routing guide compliance and savings generated.
