Distribution pact expanded

Avnet Electronics Marketing and Germany's EPCOS have expanded their distribution agreement to include the more than 70 markets served by Avnet Electronics Marketing around the globe.

Under the new agreement, Avnet will distribute a broad range of EPCOS products including aluminum electrolytic capacitors, EMI suppression capacitors, film caps, surface acoustic wave components, inductors, nonlinear resistors, sensors, filters, ferrites and surge arresters on a worldwide basis.

"With its global reach, Avnet is a perfect partner for EPCOS, offering design-in capability combined with an excellent worldwide delivery performance to our customers," said Dietmar Jaeger, head of global distribution sales at EPCOS.

EPCOS is based in Munich. Avnet is headquartered in Phoenix.
