    WHAT IT MEANS: Business is picking up after a brief slowdown at the beginning of the second quarter. Only 44% said business was getting better in April. Buyers can expect business to continue to improve in the third quarter.

    WHAT IT MEANS: As business picks up, buyers will need to order more parts as their companies ramp up production.

    Buyers who said semiconductor prices will increase over the next month

    WHAT IT MEANS: As demand picks up, prices will increase and there will be tighter supply for many components. In April, only 22% said chip prices would rise.
