Mouser launches European catalog
Distributor Mouser Electronics announced it launched its first European catalog at the recent Electronica show in Germany. The 980-page catalogue will initially be available in English and German with other languages to follow. Pricing will be in Euros and British pounds. At the same time, the company will go live with local web domains, soon to be launched in local languages. The new catalog and websites support Mouser's recently-announced push into Europe.
Avnet expands ON agreement
Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas is expanding its distribution relationship with ON Semiconductor. The new agreement will include design service and support of ON Semiconductor's ASIC offerings. Avnet also offers its North American customers ON Semiconductor's expanded application-specific standard products (ASSP) portfolio of solutions for automotive, communications, medical and industrial markets acquired from AMI Semiconductor earlier this year. Avnet will continue to distribute ON Semiconductor's broad range of power, analog, advanced logic and standard components for the automotive, computing, power supply and portable, applications.
