Copper spot on the New York Commodity Exchange will average at 77(cent)/lb in 1998 and just 75(cent) in 1999, predicts Ronald McGrainor, senior VP for trader Refco Inc. McGrainor pins his bearish outlook to expected growth in world stockpiles.
