Chemicals supplier Rohm and Haas said this week it has lifted its previous force majeure and begun full production at its Deer Park and Bayport, Texas plants.
Deer Park makes acrylate products while Bayport makes specialty monomers. The company originally issued a force majeure clause on those plants in mid-September in the wake of Hurricane Ike. Rohm and Haas said a force majeure remains on its methacrylate products, because a backlog of orders has not yet been cleared.
