Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. named Cypress, Calif.-based Paramount Imaging, a 25-year veteran of the whole office equipment industry and a division of Global Imaging Systems, an authorized national distributor of its Segment One digital imaging systems (20 ppm and below).

OfficeSource, a new national wholesale distributor of midmarket office furniture, has acquired two regional office-furniture wholesale companies, Kansas City-based Mid-Continent Office Distributors and Sacramento-based Equipment Distributors. Founded by former Corporate Express executives Todd Elmers and Richard Millet, OfficeSource has sales of approximately $70 million. It is based in Denver, with regional offices across the country.

Staples is the first national retailer to offer an alternative to purchasing Dell inkjet cartridges, by introducing remanufactured ink cartridges compatible with Dell under the simply brand in its more than 1,200 stores across the country. The cartridges are compatible with those used in Dell 720 and A920 inkjet printers.
