Supplier relationship management (SRM) technology provider Perfect Commerce announced that has merged with CorMine, a procurement outsourcing firm.
The new company will retain the Perfect Commerce name but will be headquartered in Hampton, Va., where CorMine was based. According to a company statement, Hampton Wall, president and CEO of CorMine, will lead the new company and John Sharman, president and CEO of the previous Perfect Commerce, has taken a leadership position on the newly formed board of directors.
The two companies have partnered on a variety of contracts in the past and Jason Wright of private equity firm Apax Partners calls the merger “a logical evolution in the development of Perfect Commerce. Leveraging the capabilities of CorMine, the new Perfect Commerce can offer a broader footprint of services that is unrivaled in the industry.”
