Less-than-truckload carrier FedEx Freight has issued a general rate increase of 5.48% for its customers in North America effective January 14. The company’s FedEx National LTL division, which is the former Watkins Motor Lines, will implement a commensurate increase as well.
The company last raised its rates 5.59% in April, which was well below its 5.95% increase in 2006.
