Richard Simmons has been named executive director of The Automotive Industry Action Group, a non-profit trade organization. Ford Motor Co. loaned Simmons to the organization on a full-time basis. Prior to joining aiag, he worked in purchasing at Ford for thirty years, most recently as director of body- and exterior-parts purchasing.
