Hewlett-Packard of Palo Alto, Calif., this week introduced a broad line of personal computers, including an ultra-thin laptop to compete directly with Apple Inc.'s MacBook Air. MarketWatch.com says HP unveiled the TouchSmart family of PCs, which enable users to tap a finger on or sweep a finger across a 22-inch-diagonal widescreen display to access information, play music, zoom in or out of photos and more. The new machines will become available at retail starting July 13 at prices starting at $1,299.
