New color copier from Canon sports connectivity option

New CLC 900 color laser copier/ printer from Canon USA comes with an optional built-in controller that provides on-board network connectivity. Also available: controller options found in the Canon ColorPASS series of color servers. New technology, the company says, "delivers faithful color reproduction, especially when copying subtle, natural colors, skin tones, and text."
At 7 cpm four-color copy speed, the new CLC copier/printer also offers a range of document handling options. The CLC 900 provides a standard paper capacity of 1,050 sheets. Now, users can produce two-sided copies of presentations, brochures, flyers, and other color documents from either double-sided originals or two-sided originals automatically.
Colorpass controllers turn Canon color laser copiers into color printers with Adobe Postscript (processing, direct-to-copier printing and network support, including Macintosh OS all Windows operating systems and unix platforms.
The servers integrate with, and operate across, all the main operating systems, and accept data from several network environments simultaneously.
