Cooper Industries Inc. could bow out of the auto business. Citing declining revenues, the Houston-based manufacturer of electrical products, tools, hardware, and auto parts, says it is considering selling off its automotive products segment, which consists of Cooper Automotive and Moog Automotive. These units comprise more than a third of Cooper's revenues and produce such well-known products as Champion spark plugs, Wagner brakes, and Moog steering and suspension parts.
