Im flash technologies, a joint venture between Micron Technology and Intel, will discontinue supplying NAND flash memory from Micron's Boise, Idaho facility. This will reduce the firm's total 200-millimeter NAND flash output by 35,000 wafers/month. Micron says weak NAND flash memory demand and falling prices forced the move.
