Graybar has updated its company website, graybar.com.
In addition to providing online access to products and services, graybar.com allows users to manage their business with the distributor according to their own preferences and schedules. As such, Graybar has added several new self-service features to the site, including:
-
Pricing and availability, quotes and order placement.
-
Product catalog with advanced search and refinement.
-
Personal account information on past orders, invoices and quotes.
-
Capabilities to integrate with internal procurement systems.
"The re-launch of graybar.com is about providing our customers with a tool that makes doing business with Graybar even faster, easier and more convenient," says Dick Offenbacher, senior vice president of sales and marketing, electrical, at Graybar in St. Louis. "Our online channel is designed to complement personal service and enhance customer relationships."
Offenbacher adds that the company already is receiving positive customer feedback due to the site's intuitive format.
"The new graybar.com is another example of how we're raising the bar on performance and value for our customers and suppliers," says Robert Reynolds, chairman, president and CEO at Graybar. "Our innovative use of technology enables us to continuously improve our performance and offer the best service possible."
