Distribution pact expanded

Avnet Electronics Marketing and Germany’s EPCOS have expanded their distribution agreement to include the more than 70 markets served by Avnet around the globe.
Under the new agreement, Avnet will distribute a broad range of EPCOS products including aluminum electrolytic capacitors, EMI suppression capacitors, film caps, surface acoustic wave components, inductors, nonlinear resistors, sensors, filters, ferrites and surge arresters on a worldwide basis.
Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas also announced it is expanding its distribution relationship with ON Semiconductor, a global supplier of high-performance, energy-efficient silicon solutions, to include the design service and support of ON Semiconductor’s ASIC offerings.
Avnet also offers its North American customers ON Semiconductor’s expanded application-specific standard products (ASSP) portfolio of solutions for automotive, communications, medical and industrial markets acquired from AMI Semiconductor earlier this year.
Avnet will continue to distribute ON Semiconductor’s broad range of power, analog, advanced logic and standard components for the automotive, computing, power supply and portable, applications.
