Mouser signs deals
Mouser has a signed a distribution deal with GPS technology firm DeLorme. Mouser's DeLorme portfolio includes the GPS receiver GPS2058-10, a compact high performance module with complete GPS firmware for all navigation applications that require no need of external memories. In addition, Mouser is stocking the GPS2058 module evaluation kit that provides a complete hardware and software platform to test and evaluate the GPS module.
Mouser also announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Hirose Electric Co., a specialty manufacturer of high-quality connectors.
Allied launches online quote
Allied Electronics of Fort Worth, Texas has launched an online quote feature that makes it easy for electronics buyers to procure parts online.
"Allied's online quote feature makes it easy for customers to quickly add an online quote to their shopping cart and checkout," says Scott McLendon, vice president of product management and marketing.
Arrow expands with Johanson
Arrow Electronics of Melville, N.Y. has expanded its global distribution agreement with the Johanson Companies, adding the European and Asia-Pacific regions to the companies' existing North American agreement. Arrow can now service Asia and European customers with The Johanson Companies products from Johanson Dielectrics, Johanson Technology and Advanced Monolythic Ceramics.
