This process has been implemented within that organization in numerous divisions, including segments in fast-paced high technology industries, businesses selling mature products into well-established markets, and start-up companies in emerging markets with unique characteristics in terms of customers and competitors. The work done by this project team has also enabled this customer to define and implement new approaches to respond to competitive challenges. Another customer relationship has focused on the development of channel strategy and channel management plans. The Blue Canyon team working with this customer developed a new strategic framework for decisions about channel strategy and relationships, and translated that strategy into action plans along dimensions ranging from authorizations to rewards to business systems. This effort also enabled the client to understand the potential to make acquisitions which took advantage of the company’s channel strategies and yielded advantages for customers that resulted in rewards for shareholders.
