Avnet signs Agilent

Agilent's products are used in defense/aerospace and communications applications

Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas has been named the exclusive distributor of Agilent Technologies' 1Gxx family of millimeter-wave and microwave (MMIC) products in the Americas.

Agilent's packaged and die versions of high-performance switches, mixers and amplifiers are used in defense/aerospace and communications applications up to 110 GHz.

Agilent's 1Gxx family of products include millimeter-wave IC's built in GaAs and InP processes that provide high repeatability and performance in advanced RF and optoelectronics applications, says Bryan Brady, vice president of defense/aerospace for Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas.
