Digi-Key goes global with GE sensing
Digi-Key has expanded its contract with GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies from a North American agreement to a global agreement. GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies designs and manufactures sensing instruments that measure temperature, pressure, moisture, gas, and flow rate for demanding applications in a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, power generation, aerospace, transportation, and healthcare. GE Sensing products stocked by Digi-Key include circuit protection products, sensors and transducers.
Newark signs Vynckier
Catalog distributor Newark signed a distribution agreement with Vynckier Enclosure Systems, based in Ghent, Belgium. Vynckier makes fiberglass reinforced polyester enclosures for harsh outdoor and indoor environments.
Mouser expands Honeywell deal
Mouser Electronics says its distribution authorization with Honeywell Sensing and Control has been expanded into Asia. Honeywell Sensing and Control makes switches and sensors among other products. The addition of Asia to Mouser's distribution agreement is part of Mouser's international expansion strategy. Mouser, based in Fort Worth, Texas, has branch locations throughout Asia including Singapore, Hong Kong and mainland China.
