Arrow Electronics has announced a new secure online tool for buyers to manage their business with Arrow online wherever and whenever they need to.
The new portal, called "My Arrow," provides Arrow North American Components customers with easy access to custom pricing and payment terms online. Users can also request quotes via My Arrow from their Arrow sales representative.
With My Arrow, buyers can search Arrow's inventory on arrownac.com, select a part and enter the quantity, view custom pricing and terms and receive order/quote confirmation. "My Arrow is the cornerstone of Arrow's efforts to help components customers get what they want, when they want it, at competitive pricing and terms," says Martin Rohde, vice president of eBusiness for Arrow Electronics. "This tool offers increased efficiencies."
Arrow also announced it has the ability to perform First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102, the aerospace standard that outlines the acceptable manner of documenting and reporting the first item manufactured in a production run.
Arrow is fully compliant in AS9102 in its Nogales, Mexico, facility where FAIs will be performed to help ensure consistency across the aerospace, automotive, commercial air technology and other engineering fields. At this time, FAIs will be performed on Amphenol connector products assembled in Arrow's Nogales facility, but will expand to other suppliers in the near future.
