As part of a new supply deal with agricultural giant Monsanto, industrial gas
supplier Air Products and Chemicals will build a new hydrogen production plant at Monsanto's Luling, Louisiana
facility.
The new plant will be capable of producing 100 million
standard cubic feet of hydrogen per day when it comes online in January 2012. The
Luling plant will be built through the global alliance between Air Products and
Technip, which has built more than 30 hydrogen production facilities.
