Digi-Key signs Vitesse
Digi-Key has signed a global distribution agreement with Vitesse and will carry the company's line of semiconductors used in communications equipment. Vitesse is a provider of advanced semiconductor solutions for carrier and enterprise networks worldwide. Vitesse ICs address high-speed communication needs by providing a broad portfolio of Ethernet transceivers, switches, transport processing products, as well as signal integrity, physical media devices and physical layer devices. More than 50 Vitesse products are now stocked by Digi-Key.
Mouser goes global with Cooper Bussmann
Mouser Electronics has expanded its distribution agreement with Cooper Bussmann, a leading manufacturer of circuit protection devices.
The new agreement expands Mouser's reach. It had been authorized to sell Cooper Bussmann products in North and South America but now can sell them globally.
The agreement covers a variety of Cooper Bussmann branded fuses and ESD suppressors, Coiltronics branded magnetic (inductors and transformers) and PowerStor branded coin cell and cylindrical super capacitors.
Avnet signs Opnext
Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas has signed a distribution agreement with Opnext and will carry the company's line of optical modules and components.
Opnext products are used in communications, information technologies, and industrial market applications — including laser technologies and laser diodes.
