PURCHASING NOTES

Kaiser Permanente has named Compaq Computer "IT supplier of the year." The award is based on a supplier performance rating system that evaluates price, service and responsiveness, product availability, current and future technical resources, quality, and knowledge of the company. "Compaq is helping us achieve our vision of managing the entire supply chain to be as efficient and productive as possible," says Chuck Noland, director of operations, national purchasing operation.
