Russell-Stanleyon the move

It was quite an autumn for Red Bank, N.J.-based Russell Stanley Corp. The bulk packaging maker has merged with Hunter Drums Ltd., the Canadian industrial-container manufacturer. This announcement came on the heels of Russell-Stanley's merger with Container Management Services, an IBC leasing and logistics company.

To top this, Russell-Stanley acquired Smurfit Plastic Packaging, maker of blow molded plastic industrial containers. Included in the deal are five U.S. plant locations.
