Biggest buying problems

Shipping problems continue to plague buyers. "There's a lack of follow-up by vendors to ensure that freight was shipped in accordance with out request," says one buyer in Columbia, Miss. "Freight companies are not delivering when they say they will," says a buyer in Milwaukee, Wis.

The crisis in the Asian markets is also taking a toll for some: "Our Asian suppliers are having problems obtaining raw materials due to the currency crisis," says one buyer.
