With the acquisition of 17 companies in the first quarter of its 1998 fiscal year, ikon Office Solutions continues to build its presence in Europe and expand its capability in technology services and outsourcing/imaging. Of the 17 companies, five are outsourcing and imaging businesses, seven are office supplies providers. ikon has more than 1,100 locations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Denmark.
