Expect Asian financial crisis to keep lid on low memory prices. With devaluation of the Korean won, dram manufacturing costs are drastically lower for such leading Korean dram manufacturers as Samsung and Hyundai. That means they can easily slash dram tags without drawing fire for violating antidumping regulations.
