PPG buys coatings business

PPG Industries has acquired the automotive coatings business of Germany-based Helios-Lacke Bollig & Kemper GmbH & Co. (B&K). The deal will bolster PPG's product line and worldwide coatings service capabilities for automakers based in Europe.
