Supply-base changes continue

The past few months have seen a blizzard of changes in the bulk-container industry, with many major firms announcing acquisitions and alliances. Here's another to report: Hoover Materials Handling Group has acquired Endural, a Calif.-based manufacturer of vacuum-formed plastic material-handling containers used in the automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries. The company will operate as a division of Hoover. Endural's product line focuses on returnable plastic containers for transporting engines and transmissions, automobile parts, and other industrial products.
