Nova Chemicals has signed a long-term contract to supply Shell Chemicals Canada with ethylene beginning in 2000. Ethylene from Nova's petrochemical site in Joffre, Ala., will be transported by pipeline to Shell's 400,000 tonne/yr ethylene glycol plant at Scotford, Ala.
