Toshiba America Information Systems, Electronic Imaging Division, has opened a new Irvine, Calif.-based training center to prepare its copier and facsimile dealers for the office-equipment industry's transition to digital technology. Toshiba Digital University offers dealers and their employees both sales and technical training on the manufacturer's new digital products. Soon, EID plans to open a laboratory in the facility, providing dealers with live, hands-on comparative demonstrations on both the sales and service side.
