Intel has begun shipping Pentium II processors for the mobile computer market

Intel has begun shipping Pentium II processors for the mobile computer market. Latest Pentium II versions have speeds of 233 and 266 megahertz and come in a smaller cartridge than Pentium II chips for desktops. New Mobile Pentium II also runs at a much lower voltage than the desktop processors. Price: $466 for the 233-MHz versions and $696 for the 266-MHz chip.
