Who's making buyers happy?
By Staff -- Purchasing, 5/7/1998
Metals industry researcher John Jacobson in Rochester, N.Y., early this year surveyed 18,980 metals buyers to determine which firms have been most successful in satisfying customer needs in the previous two years. He also asked them to rank their loyalty to their service-center suppliers; i.e., which firms they intended to use in the following year. Interestingly, only half of those currently satisfying customers the most ranked among the top centers the buyers intended to work with over the following year.Top 10 service centers with customer loyalty
