Ford sends sedans south of the border

Ford Motor Co. says it will move production of its Contour and Mystique sedans to Cuautitlan, Mexico, by the year 2000. The reason? Sales of these vehicles are lackluster at best. The shift will allow Ford to ramp up output of a new sport wagon at its Claycomo, Mo.-based plant.
