Corporate Changes

Hoechst AG will shed two-thirds of its operations, splitting into two separate companies. Hoechst will retain the company's drug and industrial units. The company's Celanese and Ticona industrial chemical units will spinoff, under the name Celanese AG.

Hercules has completed the announced acquisition of water treatment chemicals and services giant BetzDearborn.
