Sager to buy Calswitch

Sager Electronics intends to buy the electronic distribution business of Calswitch. Details of the proposal were not disclosed, but it is expected to close in March. Sager, with sales of about $260 million, carries passives, electromechanical interconnects, and some semiconductor devices. Calswitch is primarily an electromechanical distributor. It has sales of about $60 million.
