Chevron Chemical

Chevron Chemical will construct a normal alpha olefins (NAO) plant at Baytown, Texas. The facility will produce 750 million lb/yr. of NAO--doubling Chevron's current capacity to 1.5 billion lb/yr. It will start up in third-quarter 2000.
