Dana Corp. division to manufacture gaskets

Dana Corp. has announced that its Victor Reinz division will begin manufacturing multi-layered steelhead gaskets in its Kentucky facility. The move is planned to help the company fulfill new contracts with several major original equipment manufacturers.

Victor Reinz, a division of Dana's Engine Systems Group, plans to begin multi-layered steelhead gasket production in the facility by mid-2000. The group will supply approximately 12 million head gaskets through the 2005 model year to automotive, heavy-duty, and small-engine customers.
