Dell adds high-performance, high-value corporate PCs to line

Dell Computer has introduced two new Latitude C family corporate notebook PCs.The Latitude CPx H500GT features the Intel Mobile Pentium III processor at 500MHz. The Latitude CPx also features the new Dell DualPoint design that integrates two cursor pointing devices: a touch pad and a pointing stick. Designed to help improve usability, DualPoint lets customers use either device or both.
Also new, the Latitude CPx comes with 8MB of video RAM and 2X AGP support for smooth video performance on its 14.1-in. TFT display. The Latitude CPx supports up to 512MB RAM, one of the largest capacities in the industry. The standard Latitude CPx H500GT configuration includes three-year next-business-day onsite service, 64MB RAM, 4.8GB hard disk drive, floppy disk drive, and 24X maximum CD-ROM drive.
At the same time, Dell added the Latitude CPt V466GT to its line. This new model features an Intel Mobile Celeron processor at 466MHz, a 14.1-in. active matrix display, and a standard configuration that includes one-year next-business-day onsite service, 32MB RAM, 4.8GB hard disk drive, lithium-ion battery, floppy disk drive, and a 24X maximum CD-ROM drive.
