McJunkin Corp. has selected MRO.com as the platform

McJunkin Corp. has selected MRO.com as the platform for its ongoing e-commerce initiatives. The PVF distributor plans to roll out mroBuyer at its more than 100 locations in 32 states. In addition, McJunkin will offer MRO.com's product suite with its value-added services of project management, onsite storeroom management, and integrated supply.

The catalogs of these suppliers are now available on the PurchasingCenter.com Web site. PurchasingCenter.com offers MRO buyers a one-stop shop for sourcing products, auction goods, industry news, expert advice, and job listings.

 

GE Supply has launched an e-commerce catalog

GE Supply has launched an e-commerce catalog for its online ordering Web site, GE Supply Net, accessible through www.gesupply.com. The e-catalog was built using Requisite Technology's BugsEye finding technology and eMerge content management toolset. Says Bill Meddaugh, president and CEO, GE Supply: "Our aggressive expansion into e-commerce relies on a strategy of providing the value-added service and faster response customers want."

 

MasterCard, AmSouth Bank, and Comdata Corp. have introduced an all-in-one-fleet card

MasterCard, AmSouth Bank, and Comdata Corp. have introduced an all-in-one-fleet card that eliminates the need for separate vehicle and purchasing cards. It also is the first U.S. credit card with debit capabilities allowing the user to access personal funds. Issued by AmSouth Bank, the Comchek MasterCard Corporate Fleet Card is accepted at many of the more than 17 million locations worldwide that accept MasterCard cards, including 10,000 truck stops that honor Comdata's Comchek card.
