CSX Corp. to sell CTI Logistx

The Virginia-based CSX Corp. has agreed to sell CTI Logistx Inc. to TNT Post Group N.V. The purchase price is $650 million in cash, and the sale is expected to close in late September.

Freightliner acquires Western Star Trucks Holdings

Freightliner LLC has acquired Western Star Trucks Holdings. The Oregon-based Freightliner, a DaimlerChrysler AG unit, acquired the company for $453 million.

EGL completes merger

EGL Inc. has completed its merger with Circle International Group. Inc. The Texas-based EGL, a domestic heavyweight airfreight forwarder, now offers a network of almost 400 facilities.
