John Grove has been named director, materials management for Cold Metal Products in Youngstown, Ohio. Grove previously had worked for 29 years at Commercial Intertech Inc. in various managerial roles including operations manager and division manager of domestic metals; most recently he held the position of director of purchasing.

Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon recently appointed Karen G. Chasez to the newly created position of vice president of procurement. Her primary responsibilities will be to develop a global procurement and supply initiative that will reach as far as the U.S., Brazil, Trinidad and Chile.
