RailAmerica sells property

The Florida-based RailAmerica Inc. has sold some of its properties for $11.4 million. RailAmerica sold 26.5% equity interest in Quebec Railway Corp., its Canadian-based Ontario L'Original Railway, and certain other real estate and rail assets.

PLM merges with MILPI Acquisition

PLM International Inc. will merge with MILPI Acquisition Corp. The California-based PLM International is a management company that provides services to transportation, industrial and commercial companies.

Australian Railroad Group acquires Westrail Freight

Australian Railroad Group Pty Ltd has acquired Westrail Freight from the government of Western Australia. Australian Railroad Group is now the largest private rail operator in Australia, serving half of the Australian continent.
